Working at a Height

This e-learning course provides essential training on Working at Height. The course aligns with the Work at Height Regulations 2005 and aims to ensure that all staff understand the risks, responsibilities, and best practices involved in working at height.

Learners will explore what constitutes “work at height,” common hazards associated with the role, and how to carry out tasks safely using appropriate equipment such as ladders, scaffolds, and mobile platforms. Emphasis is placed on risk assessment, the hierarchy of controls, and the importance of proper planning and supervision.

The course also covers the selection, inspection, and maintenance of access equipment, along with emergency procedures and fall prevention techniques. 

By the end of the course, employees will have the knowledge and confidence to identify risks and take appropriate action, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and reducing the chance of accidents. This training supports a proactive safety culture across all operational environments.

RA00 - Risk Assessment, Process Overview

This short eLearning module provides an overview of the risk assessment process within our company. You’ll learn how to identify hazards, assess risks, and implement control measures to create a safer workplace. By the end, you’ll understand the key steps to effectively manage workplace risks and ensure compliance.

Abrasive Wheels Awareness

Covering the dangers, legal responsibilities, selection and inspections of abrasive wheels. This course raises awareness of working with abrasive wheels and helps towards compliance with the PUWER regulations.

The course format has videos, documentation and an elearning package with a test that requires a pass mark of 80%.

Please note:
This course should be completed alongside a practical demonstration of how to change an abrasive wheel and how to operate the machine being used.
